In the garden, the Rambling Rector rose is a mass of flowers and the Philadelphus (mock orange blossom) is out and filling the garden with a wonderful scent on the warm air. |

Back at Le Bosquet, it is a lovely time of year to find a quiet spot in the shade to enjoy a drink while reading a book. |

All year round there are flowers in the village and by early June the roses are putting on a show together with geraniums and many bedding plants. |

In the countryside the haymaking is well under way and the first cornfields are already turning golden. |
