Christmas in Normandy

Come and join us for a 3 night break and spend the festive season at Le Bosquet and experience a unique Christmas combining the best of both French and English traditions.

Arrive in the afternoon on Christmas Eve to mince pies and mulled wine in front of a roaring log fire and the chance to meet our other guests.

In the evening there will be an informal and leisurely three course supper with wine, allowing anyone arriving later in the day to enjoy their meal without any pressure.

Christmas Day begins with breakfast of Champagne and orange juice and scrambled eggs and smoked salmon in addition to the usual croissant and pain au chocolat. For those wishing to attend a service on Christmas morning there are two small churches within Putanges-Pont-Écrépin.

There will be a chance to open Christmas presents left under the tree later in the morning or after lunch.

Christmas lunch will combine the best of both French and English traditions. Starting with Normandy cocktails in the lounge and moving into the dining room for a 5 course meal with wines and followed by coffee, liqueurs and petit fours.

Boxing Day is the time to do as much or as little as you wish. After a continental breakfast including yoghurt, fruit compote, cold meats and cheeses, the day is yours to do with as you wish. Either simply relax in front of the fire with a book, play games or venture further afield.

In the evening there will be an aperitif in the lounge before a four course dinner with wine and digestif to follow.

After breakfast on the morning of 27th it is time to wish you 'au revoir' or hopefully 'a bientot'.

Stays may be extended on a Bed & Breakfast basis at either end of your stay to enable you to explore further all this lovely corner of France has to offer.

De-stressing and/or Stop Smoking Breaks

The peaceful setting of Le Bosquet is the ideal venue for stopping smoking or simply de-stressing your life with the help of a fully qualified hypnotherapist with many years experience.

Wine Tasting

Although Normandy is not a wine growing area, why not come along to one of our informal and fun wine tasting events.
